With the Grand Pacific model, designed by Taylor’s chief designer Andy Powers, the American brand created a unique and innovative guitar. A guitar that generates sounds that are familiar to dreadnought players but are different in a meaningful and practical way at the same time. The wider waist allows you to generate more powerful bass, but nothing smudgy or mushy.
This Taylor AD27 combines this shape with a solid tropical mahogany top, known for its clear and open sound. The same wood is used on the neck, combined with eucalyptus on the fingerboard. The backs and sides are made of a very versatile and all-terrain wood: sapele. A completely solid guitar at a price well below other guitars with the same features.
