The SD-60 model reminds the guitars manufactured at the Second World War. Its body is smaller than a standard dreadnought model and that makes each note clearer, making the open chords sound nice and big, with a lot of definition, like the smaller guitars.
Following the construction requirements of the Traditional Series, the woods have been selected by Jean Larrivée himself. Its body is made with the best Indian Rosewood, as well as the Sitka Spruce wood from the top. As in all models of the Traditional Series, the fingerboard is made of ebony, producing a soft feeling.
The hand slides fine thanks to the leveled and beveled frets, mounted one by one, making the tuning perfect along the whole fretboard. Its satin finish let the wood breathe both in chords and fingerpicking style. A very special and exclusive guitar made in California.
