Description

This guitar is basically a variation of the Fusion model with the Suhr DSV+ bridge humbucker and DSV neck humbucker pickups with the single-coil V60LP in the center. The guitar produces a wide range of clean to saturated bass sounds that Alex himself described as “transparent, balanced and sweet”.

Today Alex Machacek is one of the most respected and versatile guitarists in the jazz-fusion genre. The Austrian-born virtuoso and .strandberg* collaborated for nearly a year to develop a guitar that would meet Alex’s requirements for an instrument that was ideal for his innovative, progressive jazz fusion style.

The result of this collaboration is this 6-string tremolo guitar ‘Alex Machacek Edition’ by Boden. An instrument that features a premium alder body with 4A flamed maple top, Pau Ferro’s fretboard roasted maple neck, Suhr pickups in HSH configuration specifically selected to complement his style with custom wiring, and the EGS Pro 5 tremolo system.
