The D-28 is possibly one of Martin’s most famous and long-haul models. After nearly a century of history, this is a reissue of this well-known guitar, which has accompanied great musicians such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Johnny Cash. The new D-28 combines the guitar’s rich historical elements with Martin’s most recent and announced innovations. This new edition has combined vintage details, including open gear tuners, an aged toner cap, antique white accents and a new neck profile to give all D-28 enthusiasts a modern feel and a much more comfortable playing experience.

El trato personal y atención merecen un 10. Formalizado el pedido se pusieron en contacto para pedirme autorización para desprecintar la guitarra y comprobar que todo estaba bien y agustarla a mi gusto. Incluso me ofrecieron poner las cuerdas que yo quisiera, y darme
las recomendaciones para cuidarla. La guitara se toca como si fuera mantequilla, su sonido es asombroso. Muy feliz con la compra y por la empresa donde efectúe la adquisición, se nota que les gusta su trabajo.

Fantastic service from the team at Fanatic – happy to correspond in English. Order processed and despatched quickly and delivered to Gibraltar without any issues. Guitar arrived in perfect condition, well boxed. Was surprised that the guitar didn’t have a strap button on the heel, but from research know that this is common practice for Martins – a bit of a shame, but no effect whatsoever on a fabulous guitar. Action is pretty high and the neck needed a slight truss rod adjustment, but easy to do with the right tool and experience of such maintenance (the allen key does not come with the guitar, but easily purchased). Width at the nut slightly wider than my previous guitar so a little technique change needed to avoid unintentional muting on the E string – that’s not the guitars fault!

Guitarra encargada la tarde del 23 de Diciembre y recibida antes de las 9 de la mañana del 26, con Nochebuena y Navidad por el medio, así que mejor imposible. Ni qué decir tiene que mi nueva y preciosa Martin D-28 llegó en perfecto estado. También muy amables al teléfono las 2 personas con las que hablé antes de hacer el pedido.

Hice la compra online y el envío llegó al día siguiente con el paquete en perfecto estado (ya viene empaquetado de Estados Unidos, así que no sufre nada durante el transporte). La guitarra es preciosa, un lujo, y viene con la funda Martin también de muy buena calidad. Con una guitarra así ¡la funda no podía ser menos! Totalmente recomendable la guitarra, pero también la tienda Fanatic Guitars, por la venta online tan tan rápida.
