Almost two decades ago, Larrivée designed the C-10 model for one of the best acoustic guitarists in history: Tommy Emmanuel. Since then, this mythical model has suffered some reincarnations, like the one you see in the photos. The Larrivée C-10E retains its main features: the recognizable Florentine cutaway, the Sitka spruce top, and the Indian rosewood back and sides. But it probably adds one of the best acoustic guitar preamps, the LR Baggs Anthem, and the spruce top is not just any top. Following a centuries-old tradition among luthiers from Europe, this type of wood is planted, grown and cut on a specific calendar according to the different moons. Certainly a rarity in the age of industrialization.
