I just received the Alhambra 10p I ordered yesterday in perfect condition. Really nice guitar. I am actually a piano player, but have been playing the guitar since I was 14 years old. That’s 46 years ago! So I guess I qualify as a guitar player too.
This is the first Flamenco Guitar I’ve ever owned. Very different from the Martins and Taylors I have. I have a 1899 Brazilian Rosewood BayState parlor guitar. The Alhambra sort of reminds me of that type of feel. The neck is almost exactly the same. The Alhambra tuners are in much better shape, I’ll tell you that.
I wanted to thank everyone at Fanatic Guitars for your total professionalism. Xavier was the best, he went totally out of his way to make sure that the entire transaction went smoothly. I admire that. I’m from New York City and was a little hesitant on ordering a guitar sight unseen from Spain, but after talking on the phone with Xavier, I knew it was going to be good. I will recommend you guys and your shop to everyone and hope to purchase more guitars in the future. Just don’t tell my wife!
